What a great kit for the money! No more burnt fingers. The funnel is just the right size. I was a little concerned that it might melt because it's made of plastic, but it has held up just fine. If there is one thing I would improve, it would be the size of the magnet. I think it should be a little bigger -- sometimes it just doesn't quite grab the lids. But it's still better than nothing. Items seem to be of adequate quality. Made in Taiwan. Like some have said before, the magnet on the lid lifter could be stronger. After I made my purchase through Amazon I did see a canning set of tools at Walmart consisting of, lid lifter, funnel, jar lifter, and Bubble Remover & Headspace Tool for $6.95. Looks like it was a very good deal. Those interested in a canning tool kit might want to shop around.Customer Review: Handy tools to use for canning----

This is a nice bunch of handy tools to use for canning. The only one I don't like is the magnet on a stick. (You use it to pick up lids and rings out of hot water). The magnet isn't really strong enough to sucessfully hold onto a lid or ring long enough to get it out of the water. I ended up using my husband's telescoping magnet out of his tool box! All the other tools are great and very useful.Customer Review: Great set.

We have used this several times since we recieved it a couple weeks ago. The one piece I have been a little disappointed with is the lid magnet. It did not pick up the lids very well, (it is a little dangerous to fingers to have lids drop and splash boiling water) I finally just gave up and used the tongs to get the lids out. Love the item was shipped quickly. Very poor customer service recieved had an operator over the phone put my order thru with a gift card. After being on the phone for an hour he said everything went thru........WRONG. He charged my card for the items still, waiting for the refund!!
