This kit is very helpful with canning. The jar tongs grab the jars by the neck and make it so easy to lift them out of boiling water. I used a towel to try to grab them before. The magnetic lid grabber pulls the seals out of the boiling water with such ease. I always tried to fish them out with tongs before. The funnel is very large and catches most all of the splash and it is so easy to clean. I am thrilled with my purchase.Customer Review: Awesome

I looked everywhere for this pot and for the canning accessories, and couldn't find them in any store near my house. A store about an hour away supposedly had the canner and the accessories included for something like $70. I found both on Amazon (separately) and paid way, way less and they were both delivered to my home in a few days. I made my first batch of jams, jellies and sauces this year. This set was a big help because it offered all the tools I needed to can up about 30 some jars of various products. It came with helpful tips and all the gadgets needed to make the first time canning succesful!
