I love this peeler. I have only used it on apples, so I'm not sure how it peels potatoes, but for apples, it's wonderful. It takes all of 10 seconds to peel, core and spiral slice a medium sized apple (once you get the hang of it). If you don't want to core and slice it, you can drop that attachment down with the turn of a nut and it will just peel it. Easy to clean too. I've already peeled 3 grocery bags of apples in one morning with hardly any effort. My father was even impressed with his and he is not easy to impress. :)Customer Review: Applepaloosia

Back To Basics Apple and Potato Peeler
I have seen this product all my life and never believed it would be beneficial. Then I decided it would be helpful to make raw vegetable spagetti. The day after it arrived, I found myself with a bushel of apples. So I set it up and began slicing and coring away. It did a wonderful job and in no time I had all the apples in the dehydrator. Very nice job and so easy to use!!!

With this little tool, I can put together an apple pie in little more time than it takes the oven to preheat!
It seems sturdy and durable, and is EASY TO CLEAN. It slices through the fruit cleanly and the crank turns with
little effort. The cutters look like they would be difficult to sharpen, but if they eventually become dull, the
peeler is inexpensive enough that it can simply be replaced. For me, this thing is a keeper --- unlike many hard-to-clean kitchen aids stored away in pantry corners.

I love this product! It makes apple preperation soooo much easier! I prepped 20 apples for homeade apple butter in like 15 minutes! You do need to clean it or at least soak some of the parts fairly quickly, because once the apples/juice starts to dry it can be difficult to clean. Also make sure when you use this put some foil or plastic wrap under it to collect the juice that drips down, it can be a bit sticky. I used one of these at someone's home and was sold on it's speed and efficiency. We love homemade apple sauce and apple cakes as well. This item reduces the prep time enormously. Importantly, it stay steady on the table or counter and one can work quickly to get unifom shapes. The cakes and tarts look far more professional when there are unifom pieces instead of chunks. I like the easy use, clean-up ability and speed. Great item for a baker or applesauce maker.
