Kitchen and Housewares Reviews of Wonder WasherCustomer Review: A wonder of a Wonder Washer!!!! Summary: 4 Stars
I am a knitter and needed to "felt" a bag that I made. I tried in my HE front loader and that was a joke. I then went to Amazon.com and discovered the Wonder Washer. I was honestly thinking that this was NOT going to work and that I was wasting my hard earned money. I then discovered after 3 cycles of HOT water this little washer was a dynamo! It felted my bags wonderfully (could not resist using that word:).
I recommended this washer to my yarn store to teach felting and have recommended to my knitting group.
AND I recommend it to any one that has a small load of clothing ( downside: gotta wring it out) or a knitter to felt. Awesome machine!!!
Customer Review: The Felting Washer Summary: 4 Stars
I am a knitter who loves to felt, but my washing machine is a front loader - yes I know you CAN felt in a front loader, but it's not possible to be precise in how you felt - you can't stop it, check the felting process and then re-start it. So I bought this washer for the sole purpose of felting. I use a no-rinse detergent, so I don't have to rinse, and although the process does take a little longer than a conventional washer, this is not a problem. Unfortunately my husband hates the noise [but I don't find it loud]. It is great to be able to felt a small project without running the big washer. It certainly saves on water, soap and energy.
Customer Review: Neat little washer! Summary: 4 Stars
I bought this for my shirts and socks, etc... I discovered that it will wash 2 XL t-shirts, or 1 shirt with socks and other small stuff. Hey! it works great! As for rinsing, I just dump everything out in the sink - refill with clean water, wring out the clothes and put them in for another cycle.
I discovered that it helps to put the base on a towel, as the washer will walk on the counter. Other than that - it is pretty steady.
Motor tends to squeak some - but not that bad. The lid does need to be fastened to the bucket better. Overall - For what it is.....Worth the price!!! I love it!
Customer Review: does the job Summary: 4 Stars
Doesn't work as well as a standard washer, but gets the job done if going to the laundromat isn't an option. Make sure to put the clothes in first, and then don't fill the water above the top fill line or you'll end up with a puddle. Washes very well. My only issues with it are its lack of rinse options (you have to do this by hand and wring it out yourself) and the clothes tend to get tangled together during the agitation process. Still very happy with this and would recommend it to anyone who can't install a regular washer or doesn't want to spend hours at the laundromat.
Customer Review: wonder washer review Summary: 4 Stars
The Wonder Washer appears cheaply made, but works fairly well if you follow the instructions and not overload the machine. It augments my regular washer nicely, washing small loads and delicate items well. On the debit side, the washer's design precludes having a bottom drain plug on the wash basket; a drain plug would have been useful for more effective rinsing of the washed items. The manufacturer also should have included a hose that attaches to a faucet so the wash basket can fill up quickly.
