This is an awful product. It originally retailed for $50, but now its selling for $10 and its still a rip-off. I ordered one and neither the alarm nor the helicopter worked at all. I wrote to the seller and was sent a second unit. I finally got the alarm function to work on the second one, but the helicopter will just not budge. I have tried 3 sets of batteries, and still nothing. There is a place to plug in an AC adapter, but at this point I'm not willing to go and spend even a couple bucks for that. I gave my grandson this clock for Christmas and it broke the second day of use. I wrote to Amazon to ask for how to return it and got a message back asking for a review of the product. The papers that came with product were completely unclear on how to get a refund. I am therefore very disappointed in both the clock, and the response from Amazon.

I ordered it awhile back thinking it would help with getting out of bed. The helicopter portion never worked at all. The alarm clock part did act like it would work but, it was impossible to set. Basically it is one of the most worthless things I have ever ordered. I forgot I still had it until last evening. I tried it once again thinking possibly I was just frustrated the first time causing user error. Alas, there was none! Trashcan here it comes.

I purchased the flying alarm clock to get my 9 year old out of bed. A friend has one and said a good way to get stubborn sleepers out of bed. Theirs flew around room, mine spun and dropped off stand. Theirs shut off when disk was replaced mine, had to take batteries out to stop alarming. I read reviews of this product and knew I had a 50-50 chance.Customer Review: funny, but quiet

Not for heavy sleepers, the speaker is on the bottom of the base and is completely muffled by any surface that one might place it onto. Yet even when elevated, or placed onto the edge of the surface to expose the speaker this thing still isn't loud enough for me to hear it at all in the morning. Don't buy this unless you are a light sleeper.
