FIRST let me say that I DID NOT buy my flying alarm clock from Amazon or this seller so my review does NOT reflect on them in any way. THIS review is on the product itself.
I got mine at RITE AID for $19.95. It only works if I HOLD the button down to LAUNCH (this means it falls off the base and onto the table- it does not "fly") and the alarm will then sound until I put the "flyer" back on the base.
In the normal "set the alarm and walk away" mode... the siren goes "wee ooo" for about 10 seconds then the alarm stops sounding completely. It does not ring continuously as it is supposed to.
Oh- and the best part- and I am being VERY sarcastic there...
It resets itself to 12:00 every time I use it. That's right... not only does it not work right in the first place but now I have to reset the clock and the alarm every day in order to see if it is going to work the next day.
Perhaps mine is a cheap knock off of this one or is a faulty one... I don't know.
Mine was distributed by Absolutely New. There is no info on the box or in it about what kind of batteries it uses. There are two different customer service numbers - likely a typo- but it doesn't matter. You leave a voice mail- no one calls you.
I left an email too... no response there either.
My suggestion is that you CALL BEFORE YOU BUY and see if this is the same product and just being sold by different distributors. If it's like mine and they ALL do this... I say go back to putting your NORMAL clock across the room so you have to get out of bed to turn it off.
AGAIN- this is only a review about the product and not about the seller or amazon. :)
