Kitchen and Housewares Reviews of Flying Alarm ClockCustomer Review: Disappointed Summary: 2 Stars
Got my hopes up too high I guess on this product. I expected the rotor wing to seat tightly in the holder and fly up about 6-7 feet on takeoff. This was not the case. The rotor wing flops around when 'seated' in the top holder and when launch time comes, wobbles around as it spins up and 'flys' about 6" up, then walks itself off the night stand. The radio works fine and the alarm shuts off when rotor is pushed back down in holder but still, the wing flight was very lame.
Customer Review: Fragile Summary: 2 Stars
This is a cool concept, and when it actually did what it's supposed to do (before it broke), it did a great job of getting me out of bed in the morning. The problem is that the area in which you're supposed to place the propeller is too fragile. If you don't press down, the alarm doesn't shut off, and if you press too hard (too hard being moderate pressure; I do not have concrete hands), the parts that spin the propeller break.
Customer Review: Its just not that good Summary: 2 Stars
First of all the clock comes with no AC adapter. It is the most basic of alarm clocks with the exception of the helicopter. The helicopter doesnt fly very well, It usually gets about 2 inches of air and lands. If you dont wake up after a little bit, the alarm clock shuts itself off. It is very flimsy.
Customer Review: Innovative but not functional Summary: 2 Stars
This was really getting my attention at first. Innovative product.
However, it is not functional because it flies and fall on the floor (I watched it from youtube) and you have to pick it up in the middle of sleep-to-awake state and put it back in.
Customer Review: flying alarm clock Summary: 2 Stars
Product is pretty cheap/flimsy, doesn't work well, hard to use (set time, alarm, etc.) and difficult to set the prop properly. I'd rate this a 1-2 range and wouldn't recommend it to anyone.
