Kitchen and Housewares Reviews of Flying Alarm Clock

Customer Review: Fun and Motivating
Summary: 5 Stars

This is great for my boys- something they have to interact with to get out of bed in the morning without me yelling.

Customer Review: useful....
Summary: 4 Stars

I actually bought this from somewhere else but it is the same product. Mine is working very well.

Two things I don't like:

- I can still use the snooze button and
- I have to put something under the clock to make it sound louder and to make the propeller go somewhere in my room. Otherwise, it will elevate up and basically fall next to me.

Other than that, this clock wakes me up very well and it's fun!!

different type of clock. Gave it for a Christmas present. Works pretty well, but if I had one complaint, it is that it only uses batteries out of the box. It has a socket for an AC adapter, but adapter is not included. Will need to replace batteries eventually.

Customer Review: Son loves it
Summary: 4 Stars

My son loves and shows all his friends his clock. It does come with a power cord, I am using batteries.
Great product for the price

Customer Review: Design flaws make this alarm clock less effective than it could be.
Summary: 3 Stars

Have trouble getting up in the morning? Then the Flying Alarm Clock may just be the product for you. For me, however, it was not. The clock works simply enough: the base has a motor that spins the top part at a designated time, causing the top to fly up for a few seconds. When positioned on my nightstand, it would always fly up and land on my wife's face (not good). When I tried putting it on the carpet on the opposite side of the room, I learned that the speaker is on the bottom of the base, and placing it on the carpet makes the alarm inaudible (very not good). The base is elevated, so there is no problem hearing the alarm when it is set on a hard, flat surface.
