I just threw out my old desk fan I bought in brookstone for $50 bucks. Why? it makes the old fan sound like a vacuum cleaner in comparison. This fan is whisper quiet. Now I can sleep without even noticing its on.
Pls note that this fan produce light breeze NOT STRONG WIND. Its feels like u are using a post card to fan yourself.
Love the design and i dun have to dismantle to clean. Easy to maintain.

This isn't the most powerful fan around, but it's perfect on my desk. I used to have a more powerful fan, but I had to keep it further away from me or it would bother me. The Zippi is low-powered enough that I can keep it within reach and have a comfortable breeze. perfect!

i bought this little fan to use in our motorhome's bathroom. It's sturdy, quiet and moves the air around in a small space without blowing things all over the place. We do have a vent fan in the ceiling but the sound is deafening. Customer Review: Nice Fan but not 5 star worthy

I really liked the concept of this fan with the soft blades and all, but after very little use the fan will not stay in position. It's designed with a simple thick wire stand and the housing attaches to the wire and also performs as a hinge. This hinge has loosened in just a couple hours of use and now the fan flops down and the blades hit the wire thus stoping the fan and probably hurting the motor. There is no way to tighten the hinge that I can tell. I haven't given up yet because I do like the fan byt it may be going back. Maybe I should of rated it 3 stars.Customer Review: Quiet, cute and enough air at low speed!

The title says it all. This little fan is perfect for those of us who become warm at intervals (we know who we are). A yellow Zippi fan is on my desk and is so quiet that I forgot to turn it off last night. The controls are behind the soft fabric "blades", so turning it off or changing the speed is a bit awkward but harmless. HIGHLY RECOMMENDED!!
