This is a wonderful floor cleaner! I researched several floor steamers, the Haan had the best reviews, I purchased one, and could not wait to use it. This cleaner is so wonderful, not only do I steam clean my laminate wood floors, but I also steam clean my couches. I'm the type of consumer that has to do her research before making any purchases because there's nothing I hate more than finding something else better, cheaper, etc. that I could have gotten instead. I was referred to the HAAN Floor Sanitizer by a friend who also owns one but I also researched the Shark, Bissel 1867 & Eureka Envirosteamer. I decided to go with the HAAN because of its great reviews and:
its water canister is on the mop head adding weight where it should be (unlike Shark and Bissell#
ample cord length
temperature heat is one of the highest
easy to put on and remove pad #no clips like the Eureka Envirosteamer)
All in all the product delivers exactly what it advertises. It picks up dirt and spills easily. I have not experienced any puddles of water as some reviews state. The only time that might happen is if you leave it "on" in a stationary position for an extended period of time. The pads are great, it heats up quickly, the cord length is sufficient as well as the mop time in between tank fill ups. The only reason I gave it 4 stars instead of 5 is because the cord does not stay put in the "power cord management system". It pulls out easily...so I just taped the cord to keep it in place (easy fix). I would recommend this product even to the most finicky consumer.

In June we bought a house with 3400 square feet of hardwood and laminate floors. They are so hard to keep clean, and we have a toddler who is very mobile. I really needed something that worked. I had seen the Shark cleaner but thought it looked flimsy. The Haan is solid as a rock! It pushes hot steam onto the floor. You don't have to push down, or go over and over the same spot. A sticky mess on the kitchen floor takes just seconds to get up. The cord is not the longest, but with both my vacuum and the steamer I do what my cleaning lady always did, I use an extension cord. You fill it up with a cup of water, and it takes about 3 minutes to heat up. Just enough time to sweep up the floor! Then you put a micro pad on and away you go. The pads are wonderful. When I am done I throw them in the washer and let them air dry. I love having sanitized floors, and I love how totally streak-free my hardwood looks - and it is safe on the floors! I have also used it to clean my shower, but have not used the tray on carpet or fabric yet, but plan to. I have told everyone I know about just how wonderful this product is. the haan fs20+ beats everything else I've used to clean & sanitize tile floors in my kitchen, hallway, and bathrooms.
- easy to use: add 1-cup H2O, plug it in, wait 2 minutes to steam, then go.
- minimal little elbow grease required; the steam easily cuts through sticky messes left in the wake of my 2 toddlers.
- NO chemicals or sticky residue on my floors, unlike other chemical-based cleaning agents. Safe for my kids.
- well-balanced feel and is lightweight
- convenient cord wrap/clips keep power cord secured during use and storage.
- sanitizing tray for steam cleaning carpets, rugs, and mattresses
i would have given this 5-stars but falls just short in a couple areas, probably due to my larger-than-average kitchen/dining area
- power cord could be 5-10 ft longer
- water tank capacity could be 50% larger
i HIGHLY RECOMMEND this haan unit.

This offer for $89.99 is the lowest I saw anywhere and I received it in 2 days. I was thrilled to receive the sanitizing mat in this package.
I received my Haan yesterday and used it for the first time. I think it's LOVE. It is so easy to put together and did a wonderful job on my kitchen ceramic tile and bathroom floor tile.
As many of you have stated, the cord it not long enough so I just added an extention cord and all is well.
I would like to thank all the customers that left feedback, that is what "sold" it for me.
