I have one of these that I ordered from a catalog and loved it. I couldn't find it in the catalog anymore so decided to look for it on Amazon.com. I really love this basket. It's big, but light. It's roomy and easy to carry when filled with laundry and collapses for easy storage. On my way to the laundry room, one of the apartment tenants commented that he would like to have one, too. These are AMAZING!!
I can't believe I've been using the Rubbermaid plastic baskets all this time, when I could have used these sooner.
They're space saving, they're easy to carry (with one hand even!!), they hold a ton of laundry, you can throw them down the steps, and they really do fold up flat. They're just...amazing.
If you must have a negative to believe what I'm saying then, ok, the one thing to watch is when you first open them. They're twisted around and folded into a little tiny circle with a band around them. You need to watch the spring action when you take the band off.
Buy them!!!

I got this for my mom who was having trouble carrying the traditional type laundry basket up and down the basement steps. She said it is very light and makes laundry day much easier for her.
