This is a great refrigerator for the price. I happen to get it on sale, so it was a steal! But even at the regular price it is a good deal.
Between the reviews I have read and people that I know that have wine refrigerators, all said that the number of bottles that a wine refrigerator is suppose to hold is never the case. After taking out one of the shelves I was able to get the allotted 28 bottles in this one. They are crammed in there, but they fit. Some of my wine bottles are even the oversized Syrah bottles.
It is not totally silent, but it is not loud either. Basically you can hear the fan working. It can not be heard over talking or the TV. The higher you turn the fan, you turn it higher to make the refrigerator cooler, the louder the fan gets. I only store reds in mine, so it is set below the medium setting. I did end up buying a refrigerator thermometer for about $4 so I could monitor the temperature. This model does not come with one. $4 is cheaper than getting a model with a built in thermometer.
I also have to say that I was very impressed with the customer service at Etronics, the seller. After some problems they had with DHL, I still had not received my refrigerator by the expected delivery date. After I contacted them and wrote a review about it on Amazon, I was contacted the same day by e-mail and then phone by Leo who is the VP of sales and marketing. He told me they had some problem with DHL and said my refrigerator would be shipped by UPS in the next day or two. I was also compensated for the delay, which was DHL's fault, not Etronics. I would definitely buy from them again. I received my refrigerator, all in tack, no damages.
