Customer Review: Our ebony throne

We're fans of what we call 'banana' chairs. This is the best one we've owned. My son, home from college through the winter break, has been parked in this chair for 12 hours a day since he got here. It must be comfortable. And durable...he's 6'3" and 200 lbs.
Previous banana chairs we've owned supported the derriere with nothing more than a spun fabric under the upholstery which, with time, always gives way. This chair is has something akin to wood underneath. It feels like it will last forever. The arm rests are very well made too - very comfortable and very strong. As a piece of furniture the chair looks great.
BTW, the chair sounds great as well. But we sit in it a lot more than we listen to it. We're more furniture-deprived than audio poor.
