I received an Ove Glove as a gift and came back here to get some more. I especially like them for grabbing my cast iron cookware out of the oven. I've used them at temperatures up to 500 degrees and they've worked beautifully. I also have a somewhat small hand and they fit me and my husband has used them also with no problems and his hands are pretty big.
I can't say enough good about the Ove Glove.

Pros: I purchased the 'Ove' Glove set for the improved tactile performance. In this regard, the gloves did not disappoint. The were as form-fitting as I'd hoped for.
Cons: They are, however, not ideal for when handling hot items like air-core cookie sheets for extended periods of time. In fact, you can only hold them of for a short time without discomfort. This "holding" duration is much shorter when compared to the mitts I intended to replace.

Those gloves do work (surprise) as seen on TV. I even went as far as picking up burning logs to rearrange in my fire place, to see if they work, they have passed with flying colors.
Great product for hot jobs.
The price for this set is the best I have found.

Customer Review: Heat is not your friend!

I bought one of these and liked it so much I bought three more of them. They are very useful around the kitchen. They work like potholders, but because they cover your hand there is no risk of the holder slipping and your hand touching a hot surface. They don't take up much space in a drawer, which other oven mitts tend to do.
There are really only two negatives I've found after using mine for a couple of years now. One is that they really don't get clean, so they'll be stained after a while and won't look new. The other is that if you get them wet, they will conduct heat. I found this second "feature" out the hard way, and you can bet I'm now careful to keep them dry.
Great item. It only seems expensive until you try them, then you'll wonder why they aren't charging more for them.
