This stuff is great; works like a dream. We bought a 1984 house which had unsealed quarry tile throughout the first floor and in all the bathrooms. It always felt gritty or dusty under your bare feet...gross. This sealer was very easy to apply...I just used a kitchen sponge and a pair of rubber gloves...and the end result is great. The fumes were not bad at all and were well-controlled by our normal bathroom fan.
The tiles feel nice and smooth underfoot now, look fantastic, and best of all, no more grit! It took 7 thin coats to achieve the shine we wanted, but each coat is easy to apply, and you can reapply every 1/2 hour...we waited longer than that, since we did coats in between baby naps for a couple days. Just make sure your tiles are clean, dry, and well-vacuumed before you start.
