Customer Review: Accurate and precise.

This little scale has definitely been worth its price. It is consistent and accurate down to the milligram (I will say that, while it is extremely consistent, I have only used it to measure things between 25mg and 3g). The only qualm I have with it is that, due to it being battery operated, it has an automatic shutoff that is relatively quick. Sometimes I will be in the middle of adding weight to the scale when it will shut off and, since it tares upon start-up, I will lose my reading. Other than that, it has been great.
Addendum - It has been about six months since I purchased this little scale, and it is still operating flawlessly (I only use it maybe four or five times a week, however), and hasn't required a single calibration. However, another little qualm I have with it is with the actual measuring surface. Since it is in the center of a little crater, it necessitates the use of an included tray, which, while is the perfect size for 1g or less measurements, is quite small for anything else. In order to get around this, I use an index card on top of the tray for larger measurements. Its not a huge inconvenience for me since I usually measure out from the 50mg to 250mg range, but if you need to regularly measure amounts larger than a gram or so, I would think about looking at another scale.
