I bought this pillow for my daughter to use in her college dorm room and this is one of the first (of many she has had) that has truly been comfy, firm enough (but not too firm!) and strong enough to take the college life being tossed around and shoved in the corner to watch TV.
It has a great soft touch, but I did also purchase a body pillow cover so that it can be washed, and would probably recommend that since it is a nice snowy white that would probably not stay that way with any sort of use, even less abusive than that of a college dorm.
Definitely recommended.
