Customer Review: Very attractive, works well
Summary: 5 Stars
The blue does indeed shimmer; very attractive color and eye catching design. Functionally, it keeps the liquids hot for a couple hours (we have used it exclusively for coffee) and it cleans easily. The wide bottom keeps it stable, the spout pours without dripping, the top requires only a quarter turn to pour. We were specifically looking for a carafe that was not a push button as the inside-the-cap-button mechanism is hard to get clean, so the twist cap feature is to our liking. It is lightweight, seemingly dent resistant, easy to clean.
Seemed expensive for a carafe but I do not regret spending the money on something we use everyday, enjoy using and looking at, and will probably last 10 years.
Designed well, works well: Highly recommended.
