Customer Review: Finally - a dishwasher/microwave safe mug that works!

My husband and I commute to work every day. He takes the subway, and I drive. We needed a set of coffee mugs that would work for both of us. We were having the hardest time finding mugs that fit our criteria:
Dishwasher safe
Microwave safe
Keeps my coffee warm for my 45-60 minute commute
Doesn't leak when my husband puts it in his bag (right-side up) since it is prohibited on the subway
Won't loose it's seal after heavy use (we wanted a screw-top so the seal isn't completely dependent on a flimsy piece of rubber)
Fits nicely in the cabinet (no annoying handles to make it hard to place)
Doesn't cost $20 per mug!
We looked and looked and looked - online and in the stores, and finally found this! It does have a rubber gasket to help it seal, but it is also a screw-top, so the seal isn't the only thing holding the lid on. We've had these a few months, we use them every day, we put them in the dishwasher and we microwave them, and we love them. The seal still works, the coffee doesn't taste like plastic after you microwave it ('cause I have microwaved the ones that you aren't supposed to, and it gives the coffee a nasty flavor). It's also nice to know it's BPA free so I'm not ingesting unhealthy chemicals. I highly recommend it.
