Customer Review: Pricey....But Worth Every Penny

I have kids that need the humidifier. I went through at least 10 different humidifiers and returning every one, until I bought this one. Starting with low priced ones, this humidifier blew all the other out of the water, literally. I even bought a few more expensive units than this one. Had this model for 2 years now and never leaks, a very nice, easy to read humidity digital gauge, heat/cool modes, auto power off and many more features. The only bad thing I can say is it isn't cheap, and the silver ion stick and other mineral cartridges need to be replaced yearly, but overall I am very satified with this humidifier.Customer Review: This thing is so quiet!

This humidifier works extremely well. More than anything I wanted a quiet humidifier, and wow is it ever. It is easily worth the money for how silent it is. In order to hear it run, I would have to be standing right beside it, and even then it is very quiet. Our home is very open, so we did not want a loud machine as it would affect our dining room, kitchen, and living room.
We are using it for an area of about 500 square feet and it handles this are well. I should note that we haven't yet reached our coldest months where the house would usually be much more dry, but this machine seems very capable.

My experiences with humidifiers in the past has not been positive, and I was hesitant to invest the money for this one, but allergies and a very dry winter climate motivated me to give this a try after I'd read many reviews. Operation is excellent and consistent; no noise, no odors, relatively easy to clean and fill. Though there is some residue, following the manual's directions minimizes it, even with the exceptionally hard water I have here.
I have two of these, and together they raise the humidity in the overall house by between 15-20% with consistent operation. They've been great for my needs.

Possibly the best humidifier made. The best part is that you can SEE IT WORKING even though there's no lasting evidence (that is, no white dust). Love it. Bought a second one for my office and have recommended it to friends--hearing rave reviews in response.

The AOS 7135 was bought as a replacement for a humidifier that did not meet my wife's needs. We have used it from Fall through Spring in Chicago to humidify a large master bedroom. It works great for us.
Maintenance details in our climate:
+ Holds enough water for a night during our dry winters. During Fall and Spring we get two nights per filling.
+ The filter canister has lasted a full year with city water, which is soft.
+ Standard weekly maintenance is less than a five minute process.
We would definitely buy this product again.
