I chose this model based on online reviews and let me just say they were spot on. This is by far the best humidifier in the market. Be it that you want low or really high levels of humidity in your room this unit does it all in a really short amount of time. It is easy to clean and has more than sufficient water capacity. Great product. Very quiet and efficient, but I wish I had bought one with a built in hygrometer. With this one I have to keep adjusting the knobs so the room stays where I like it (at 50%).

We like it and are glad we purchased it. The only problem is that even with using their mineral disolver, we still get a small amount of white powder on items that are close to where the mist comes out of the humidifier. However, on the other hand, it is easy to wipe away powder that is noticeable. Secondly, when you buy it, you are also married to the products used to demineralize the spray as well as the chemical they sell to decalcify the parts in the lower chamber of the unit. The manual reads that if you use anything other than their brand of demineralizers, it voids the warrenty and you're on your own if it doesn't work properly after that.
However, all these appliances are a pain in the neck to clean and keep clean. There just isn't one on the market that is self cleaning. We've owned many different brands before making this purchase. So even with all these constraints, it's better than any other cool mist humidifier and I recommend buying it.
