Kitchen and Housewares Reviews of Aerolatte Stainless-Steel Deluxe Edition Frother with Stand, ChromeCustomer Review: great little frother Summary: 5 StarsI own a Nespresso espresso machine, which makes wonderful espresso, but I have not been happy with the milk steaming device that comes as part of the machine. Since I drink only lattes, I was at a loss about how to make them. This frother has made it all SO easy. I simply microwave the milk while I'm making the espresso, froth the milk (the whole process takes less than a minute), and pour the two together. Voila! GREAT lattes! I LOVE this frother! And it goes under a running faucet to clean--couldn't be easier.
Customer Review: I Love my Aerolatte Summary: 5 StarsI make simple lattes, nothing fancy but this Aerolatte makes life so much easier. I tried a cheap copy, $1.99 version from IKEA and it could barely blend coffee and milk together. This can fulfil my latte dreams.
Customer Review: Works great, not the same as hot air frothing Summary: 4 StarsI got this for 2 reasons.
1) when I'm not paying attention making cappicuno and miss frothing the milk with my cappicuno maker, I don't have to start over with hot water.
2) When my son wants yummy hot chocolate, I don't have to time it with making cappicuno or start that whole thing. I add chocolate syrup to milk, froth, put it in the microwave to heat, add little marshmellows and he is in heaven.
So for the above it works fine. I was hoping I could not worry about frothing with cappicuno and just make espresso and use this for the milk, but I really like the hot air froth better. It's hot and it tastes, feels different. The blade frother works ok, but the froth goes down and it just tastes like a bunch of air (does that make sense, it's all air, but it's different).
On that note, it's cheap (GREAT price), works great, easy to store (on shelf, no cord runs on batteries), easy to clean and handy to have. Don't agonize, it's sort of a no brainer. Not a substitute to the real thing, but a nice addition.
Customer Review: We love this product and have many more uses than expected Summary: 5 Stars
My wife wanted a frother for the half and half she puts in her coffee. We did not wish to mess around with a high priced steamer that would clutter the counter in the kitchen and we have younger children that come to visit so safety was an issue.
This does the job! Its light, easy to use, takes up little space. I started using it to help blend flour into milk and water mixes when I make gravy (Yes I do make dinner sometimes). Wow it works great and cleans easily.
this is a lightweight product so you can't use it for mixing heavy items obviously. But to facilite making chocolate milk, a cup of boullion, a special frothy treat for the kids, a cup of coffee for yourself, it works really well.
We had a bulkier version of this years ago we had picked up in Switzerland that used a big european style battery so we were used to the concept. We like gadgets. This one works just as well, is much lighter, and uses standard batteries.
GREAT. More uses than you can imagine and a quick and easy tool to grab in a hurry when you don't want to drag out a bigger corded applicance for light tasks, and don't want to whisk something by hand.
Customer Review: Pass on this product Summary: 1 StarsIt did not work well for us. We don't use it except to mix cocoa in a cup.
