Please think out of the box on this one.
Batteries are designed to hold certain amounts of power, some only 300milliamps (mAh) others much greater. Using good alkaline batteries, like AA size, you would get about 1200 mAh. As I said others only 300.
Well, I discovered that I had some rechargeable AA's that went all the way up to 2500 mAh. Wow, what a difference! I charged them up and the AeroLatte really came to life. It will create a vortex all the way to the bottom of the cup... Wonderful!
So, get a 4-pack of 2500 rated AA's, and watch your Frother come to life.

I saw one of these in use at a friends, and simply couldn't stop drinking up coffee after dinner (and I normally do not order coffee after dinner) I was hooked. Ordered this as soon as I could. Product delivers perfect frothy milk in seconds. So easy to use, Nice touch that it comes with a battery, ready to use. Perfect for coffee lovers everywhere. Easy to clean, a great gift idea for coffee lovers everywhere, excellent low price, and product delivers what is promises - perfect frothy milk - other possible uses can be for making milk shakes - though I haven't tried this yet. I wouldn't trade mine for anything!Customer Review: Very happy!

I really like this milk frother.
I'm not a coffee snob and I don't need anything super fancy, I just thought it would be fun and especially good for getting thoroughly mixed cocoa- and it is!
Something to note, it does say you can use it for milkshakes and I've seen people complaining that there is no way that would happen- it also defines milkshakes as milk and syrup. By "milkshake" it means cold flavored milk infused with air basically. I don't really understand how anybody could look at the frother and think it would work for an ice cream milkshake- it just isn't built for that.

After getting frustrated with Capresso FrothExpress, I decided to try the much less costly Aerolatte. Where I couldn't get the FrothExpress to froth the milk at all after trying everything that their tech support suggested. When this device arrived, I had a frothed cappucinno in my hands in 40 seconds. Its fast, dependable, and easy to clean. I wish there was something with this reliability and speed that also heated the milk. For now, I microwave the milk and then froth it with this.
The FrothExpress? It went back to the store.

I bought this because of the reviews. It froths so much better and in half the time than the broken one I am replacing. In fact, I bought another one to keep in the RV. The only precaution I would give is to watch the switch. My previous one had a pulse switch, so when my finger let up the unit stopped. On this one, when it is turned on, it stays on. It took only one time lifting it up in the air and then having to clean up the splatter to learn to use it properly. Other than that, this unit is fantastic and I couldn't be happier with it.
