Kitchen and Housewares Reviews of Aerolatte Milk Frother, Satin

Customer Review: This little frother is wonderful!
Summary: 5 Stars

I used to scoff at froth! I never understood the whole flavored, whipped coffee frenzy. Then a friend made me a cup of coffee that changed my opinion. I found I just didn't enjoy my plain old cup of coffee anymore, so I purchased the Aerolatte. In the beginning, I thought I would only froth on weekends, as a little treat. But this gadget is so easy to use, I have wonderful frothy coffee every morning; it feels like such a luxury. It did take me few tries to get the froth just right. I experimented with the volume of milk I was using, how hot I got the milk, and how long I "frothed." I went from wimpy foam to a froth that glistens atop my coffee mug. Practice made perfect. Now I am going back to buy more for gifts!

Customer Review: Love this frother!
Summary: 5 Stars

This little frother does an excellent job! True, it doesn't quite match up to a steam frother, but since my espresso maker stopped working, I needed an inexpensive alternative to making latte drinks. I owned another branded frother that seemed to work okay for awhile but I was always replacing batteries. I've had this one for about 2 months now and the batteries are still going strong. I don't own a microwave, so I heat milk on the stove in a small saucepan and then in less than a minute, I have dense, foamy froth using this little gem. Love it, and it definitely out-performs any other frother I've tried at this price point. I also love that it stands on end, so it stores very nicely.

Customer Review: GREAT PRODUCT AND INEXPENSIVE!!!
Summary: 5 Stars

I BOUGHT THIS CLEVER DEVICE TO FROTH MILK WHEN I MAKE CHAI LATTE. I JUST MIX 1/2 TAZO CHAI LATTE CONCENTRATE (I BUY AT TARGET) WITH 1/2 2% MILK AND THEN ADD SOME EQUAL SWEETENER AND MIX WITH A STIRRER. THEN, MICROWAVE TO WARM. AFTERWARDS, I USE THE AREOLATTE FOR ABOUT 20 SECONDS TO MAKE A GREAT FROTH. PERFECT!!! JUST AS GOOD AS STARBUCKS CHAI LATTE FOR A FRACTION OF THE PRICE. I EVEN TAKE THE AEROLATTE TO WORK SOMETIMES SINCE IT'S SO SMALL AND BATTERY OPERATED. I'M SURE THIS WOULD ALSO WORK GREAT FOR COFFEE LATTES AND HOT CHOCOLATE. MUCH LESS EXPENSIVE AND PORTABLE THAN THOSE FANCY MACHINES AND YOU GET THE SAME RESULT. I WOULD HIGHLY RECOMMEND THIS PRODUCT.

Customer Review: Wow, From skeptical to totaly satisfied
Summary: 5 Stars

I have been a Cappuccino lover for quite a while now, with my Krups simple espresso model. I learned the hard way to froth the milk using the steam nozzle handle. Recently I got a Nexpresso, that took me in another level of quality. However, my Essenza does not come with a froth nozzle. So there was a expensive choice, the Aeroccino from nexpresso or the Aerolatte. I could not believe that this little machine battery operated (Aerolatte) would make a better froth than my five years of steam labor. It is just better. I did not try the Aeroccino yet, but this very inexpensive apparatus totally surpassed my expectations. I recommend it.

Customer Review: Great Frother!
Summary: 5 Stars

I'm no expert, but this device works quite well. You do need to "play with it" just a bit to learn how to maximize your froth, but I find it works great. I have a lower end espresso machine, and I've switched to using the frother since I can heat my milk in parallel making my espresso and then quickly create my frothed milk (by not having to wait for my espresso machine to heat up for steam). If you are new to frothing, keep in mind that you do need a somewhat larger container to froth in since the froth works it way towards the top of the pitcher.

I've had this for a few months now and it has worked great.
