Kitchen and Housewares Reviews of Aerolatte Deluxe Edition Milk Frother with Stand, Stainless SteelCustomer Review: Froth Froth and Froth Summary: 5 Stars
I just received this item and used it a few times. I am very impressed with the foamy froth produced by this small appliance. I had previously tried a coffee/cappucino maker with a steam frother and it was awful. This little appliance makes my coffee just like the cafe ole I enjoyed while in Spain. It is so easy to use; I placed a small amount of milk (skim plus) in my regular sized mug, microwaved to warm about 20 seconds and frothed. Then I poured the coffee on top of the froth. There is so much froth it is still in the cup after the coffee is gone. Also important is it takes only a tiny space on the counter, the stand is perfect, would recc only to buy with a stand.
Customer Review: Does its job -- but you need a tall glass! Summary: 5 Stars
This is definitely great at doing what is advertised, so no complaints in the performance dept. What you do need if you're going to use this is plenty of room in your glass, as it does quite a good job of making a bit of a whirlpool in there. I'm having to pour less into my cups in order to make more room, which isn't a huge deal but it's a notable detail. So definitely go for tall glasses with plenty of room on the inside, because you'll be using this alot. With my press & this I haven't the slightest urge to go to any of these overpriced Cafes. Now with the frothy milkfoam on top I'm not missing anything out of my Cup O' Joe anymore.
Customer Review: The answer to all those Financial Advisors Dissing Your Latte Summary: 5 Stars
Amazing. I make my own "Cafe Au Lait" every morning in under a minute using a one-mug Melita drip coffee filter (strong french roast coffee), my microwave (heat milk right in mug) and this zippy little frother. Runs on AA batteries, I use rechargables.
It's worth the extra outlay to buy this model: the Stainless Steel housing makes it more durable than the plastic versions, and the Stand makes it possible to briefly rinse the immersible end & then let it dry on the stand. I wrecked 2 previous frothers by washing them and letting them dry on their sides: water inevitably gets into the housing and kills the unit.
Customer Review: Easy to use and clean Summary: 5 Stars
This frother works perfectly for me. I eagerly opened it, pulled out the battery protector tab (batteries were already inside), turned it on in a cup of water to clean it for 10 seconds, and proceeded to use it with milk. The stand saves a lot of space and keeps this little tool clean, dry, and handy. I love having froth in my morning cup of mocha now, and sometimes a hot chocolate in the evening. This handy tool also helps 'mix' the hot chocolate in the hot milk, so it has additional benefits. Nothing bad to say about this wonderful innovation at all. Thank you to the brains who created this very efficient gadget.
Customer Review: Spend the extra - go for the Deluxe Summary: 5 Stars
This product is the answer to my dreams. Although it's available in less expensive versions, do yourself a favor and get the deluxe stainless steel one.
It's quick to use, cleans so fast-run it under a faucet and set it in its holder to dry.
I like using cold skim milk in a stainless pitcher and the froth is out of this world. Even heating the milk 5-10 seconds on medium power in a microwave still produces a decent froth. 1/4 cup of cold skim milk and you have enough froth for 2 generous cups. I let it froth about 20-30 seconds while I'm making the espresso in my Senseo.
