Just tried this and it's so easy. Being a fan of Starbucks Caramel Macchiato's, I wanted to be able to make a Java treat at home, but was a little skeptical. The Aerolatte Stainless-Steel Deluxe Edition Frother with Stand, Chrome was definitely not a disappointment. It was fast, easy and created a creamy rich, not watery, tasting froth/latte. Best of all the frother is ready to use out of the box (after washing) and comes with batteries. No need to search for 2 AA batteries or run to the store for some, it comes with 2 AA batteries, ready to use and make a delightful drink. Also, the stand is a great convenience to keep the frother accessible and keeps coffee/beverage area neatly organized and nice to look at. Unsure if success was a result of using different coffeemaker. I used unsweetened silk creamer , with some coffee I had- La Procope by Gevalia (which was unimpressive using mini Cuisinart) coffee with AeroPress Coffee and Espresso Maker Aerobie. Great combo. The latte was creamy and quite impressive. A treat which only took about 7 minutes to make.Customer Review: What a find!

I love the stand!
I clean the frother by spinning it under streaming water and then spin it dry. I then let it futher air dry in the stand.
After reading other reviews, I am careful not to bend the wand, but this seems pretty sturdy and very well designed.
I am very happy with the quality of this frother/wisk. I use it daily for Matcha Tea and have used it to blend liquid spices.
It just feels like a quality made item and a good solid weight.
(I have a travel frother from the same mfg -- and this Aerolatte being reviewed is substantially better in feel.)
I have had no problem with it -- in fact, it has provided near daily laughter as I often lift it too fast from cleaning it under the sink facet and spray myself for a moment.
Easy to clean. I'm still on the original battery provided with it.
The stand is very well designed and convenient to use.
I'd recommend this particular frother as anyone's primary tool.

What a great investment! I purchased this on Amazon for the bargain price of $11, and it's more than paid for itself in chain-store savings. Thanks to the Aerolatte, I now make my own lattes -- without having to purchase any expensive, bulky new equipment (e.g., an espresso maker)!
I have a coffeemaker with built-in grinder, so I brew myself a very strong cup of coffee (about 1/2 of what I'd expect to drink). I then heat milk (the other 1/2) in the microwave, and once it's done, I begin frothing with the Aerolatte. After frothing for about 30 seconds, slightly longer than they suggest, I add the strong coffee. With just a drop of brown sugar, yum, it's perfect! (I use skim milk, but I'm sure it'd be even more delicious with 2% or whole!)
The stand is very handy and ensures that the gadget is readily available. My Aerolatte sits on my kitchen counter, right next to the coffee pot -- it hardly takes up space, but it sure makes my mornings a lot more tasty!

The foamer on my espresso machine broke, I couldn't find a manual Braun foamer at Target, so I went online to look for one.
I had a bad experience with a battery foamer before (had different, propeller-type blades, but I don't remember the brand) so I studied the reviews before taking a chance on the Aerolatte. And am I ever glad I did!
Morning coffee is once again a luxurious experience, using a French press and this Aerolatte foamer. When the batteries are fresh, it whips up a mugful of sturdy foam in seconds.
You do have to change the batteries often, and start with cold milk (which I then put in the microwave for 50 seconds), but the results are just fine even if not quite professional.
I put a couple of packets of Splenda in mine before starting. It seems to work better than sugar. Something about the dextrose or maltose or whatever bulking agent they use, perhaps.

I very rarely review a product, but I do rely on reviews myself, so I thought I'd be candid about my purchase of this product. I could not be happier with it. It is so simple to use and right out of the box and seconds later I had a created a froth out of 2% milk!!! I poured coffee on top of it and voila! Just like the expensive coffee shops, and SO USER FRIENDLY!!! A while back I convinced my husband to buy a fancy coffeemaker with all the bells and whistles that could do the same thing....but we didn't use it even once...as it took 30 steps!!! (This is no exaggeration.) Had I known this little thing was so effective, I would have bought it a long time ago. Am now thinking of giving it as gifts for Mother's Day, birthdays, etc. Great product!! Also, spend a little more and get the Stainless steel with the stand...The stand itself is very handy to keep right next to the coffeemaker and it looks elegant!
