Kitchen and Housewares Reviews of Aerolatte Deluxe Edition Milk Frother with Stand, Stainless SteelCustomer Review: Whipped to a Frenzy! Summary: 5 Stars
I bought this item because I love lattes, but hate having to pay so much for them. I didn't want to purchase anything very expensive to make the froth for my lattes, and I don't like using a steam frother on a cappucino machine because it is hot, messy and hard to clean. This product whips low fat milk or soy milk to a frenzy! I had heard on a cooking show that low fat milk will whip better than whole milk and they are right. I use a 2 cup glass measuring cup and heat about 1/2 - 3/4 c of milk in the microwave and then whip it for about 30 seconds, pulling up slowly from the bottom of the cup. It becomes thick and creamy just like whipped cream, without all those hidden calories.
I like the stainless steel casing because it is modern, durable and very easy to clean. The stand is also very handy since I have very little drawer space in my kitchen and I like the simple modern design of it. I looks great in my stainless steel kitchen and I keep it right next to my coffee maker.
I bought this after Christmas and it came with a battery. Even though I use it daily, it is still going strong. I think my next purchase will have to be a battery charger. I am trying to be more green or eco friendly with my purchases and do wish that a rechargable battery was a option.

Customer Review: Cappuccino Short-cut Summary: 5 Stars
This is my second Aerolatte frother. I purchased my first 3 years ago, and it's still going strong. This one is to keep at the office.
For years, I steamed milk for my cappuccinos. Until I purchased my first pod-type espresso machine that didn't include a steamer wand. The Aerolatte is a great replacement. I microwave a small amount of milk, then use this frother for about 30 seconds for a really nice foam that lasts. In my opinion, it beats steaming the milk. The steam can water down your drink. And, with this method you'll never burn your milk. Clean-up is simple - just run under water and spin it dry.
It takes two AAA batteries (included) that will last about a year using it briefly every day like I did. The Aerolatte website claims the motor is guaranteed for 5 years. The version I have at home is the To-Go. From the description on the manufacturer's website, I get the impression this deluxe model has a more powerful motor. Although, I have not noticed a difference in the two, and don't think more power is necessary, unless you're going to use this for something other than frothing milk. I've used it to whip eggs and butter into a hollandaise sauce.
Obviously, owning two of these, I would recommend it, even to the occasional cappuccino drinker.
Customer Review: We love this product and have many more uses than expected Summary: 5 Stars
My wife wanted a frother for the half and half she puts in her coffee. We did not wish to mess around with a high priced steamer that would clutter the counter in the kitchen and we have younger children that come to visit so safety was an issue.
This does the job! Its light, easy to use, takes up little space. I started using it to help blend flour into milk and water mixes when I make gravy (Yes I do make dinner sometimes). Wow it works great and cleans easily.
this is a lightweight product so you can't use it for mixing heavy items obviously. But to facilite making chocolate milk, a cup of boullion, a special frothy treat for the kids, a cup of coffee for yourself, it works really well.
We had a bulkier version of this years ago we had picked up in Switzerland that used a big european style battery so we were used to the concept. We like gadgets. This one works just as well, is much lighter, and uses standard batteries.
GREAT. More uses than you can imagine and a quick and easy tool to grab in a hurry when you don't want to drag out a bigger corded applicance for light tasks, and don't want to whisk something by hand.
Customer Review: Better late than never! Summary: 5 Stars
No more trips to Starbucks! We've been using a K-cup machine for some time now. Actually, we have two Keurigs and one Breville. They're both great for straight coffee but every now and then my wife and I feel we are missing that great taste of a latte or miso at Starbucks. Not a big fan of Starbucks coffee in general -- too strong and burnt -- but put enough steamed and frothed milk in it and it is quite delicious. Enter this Aerolatte! Just came in and wow are we happy. Creates a great foam that triples in volume in seconds. Now we've got the real deal. It isn't just the different texure. It really changes the flavor. Others say that frothing sweetens the taste. I can't really say for sure. It just tastes different and we really like it. Seems like this little appliance is gonna save us some serious money. No expensive coffee and tip and no wasted gas getting there. We're making ours at home. By the way, it is smaller than I thought but it really gets the job done and seems well constructed. Cleans in seconds by running it under water. We wish we had known how easy this was. Like everything else, it only took the right tool! Well worth the money.
Customer Review: Best Hot Chocolate & Coffee Stirrer Summary: 5 Stars
I bought this about 1 month ago I use it all day every day to stir my drinks, it is probably the best kitchen gadget I have ever bought. After I use it I just run it under the tap and its clean. I am so glad I got the stainless steel version it is very durable, feels good in your hand and the stand is perfect. I bought this to especially to stir instant powder drinks like coffee, hot chocolate & ice tea I never really tried to froth milk with it. It is pretty powerful and if your not careful the whirlpool it creates will overflow your drink like a blender without a lid. I would recommend it to a friend and will probably buy a few more for Christmas gifts.
3 Month Update:
I still use it every day to stir drinks and now use it for its intended purpose to froth milk. It is perfect. I did not drink cappuccino until Christmas when I visited my uncle and he bought a really expensive cappuccino maker that automatically froths the milk. I loved it so much I went home and made myself a cup with my frother and it works great. I use it every day! Still love it and would buy it again.
