Kitchen and Housewares Reviews of Adagio Teas 16-Ounce Ingenuitea TeapotCustomer Review: Easy, Convienent, and Pretty! Summary: 5 Stars
This mug is perfect for taking to work or enjoying a cup of tea at home! It's easy to clean, everything comes apart and can be washed in the dishwasher!I have not had the problem previous reviewers noted about the strainer not staying put. It is so neat to see the loose tea floating around as you pour your water in. It's really a very functional and lovely product. I bought one for my mother in law and sister and they love theirs too! I'm always excited when someone new notices it so I can show them how cool it is! I highly recommend this to anyone who enjoys drinking tea!
Customer Review: Hands down....awesome Summary: 5 Stars
I bought the 16 ounze size. Although it is food grade plastic, it has a good weight to it, not flimsy. Cover/top is on tight and does not loosely flap. Works exactly as claimed and NOT A DROP drips when not placed on a cup...I was suspicious of this. And the strainer/filter is so fine, that not one speck of tea was found in cup. I tried with chamomile and Earl Grey (which often has powdered tea granules)...not a speck. Well done, well made and it is replacing my honey pot tea pot. Nice touch for them providing a coaster for this, although not necessary.
Customer Review: Ingenuitea Teapot - 16 Ounce Summary: 5 Stars
I decided to check this product out after it was reviewed on 'America's Test Kitchen'. I have to say that their excellent review was correct. This little tea maker is almost too easy to use. I like the idea that you can see into it, so you can judge the strength of your tea. Clean up is easy as well. Once I finish, I fill the teapot with water to make tossing the leaves easier, I remove the filter, and then I clean it with soapy water. If you're looking for an easy teapot to use, this is it!
Customer Review: Tea brewer and conversation piece Summary: 5 Stars
I saw this item reviewed on a PBS cooking show, and I agree that it does work very well. Also, tea brewed with whole tea leaves is so much more flavorful than it is when made with teabags. I won't ever buy a teabag again. It is also a great conversation piece at work when people ask what the gadget is. The only thing that I don't like about it is cleaning the wet tea leaves out after I've brewed my tea. That part is a little annoying, but worth the effort for such great tasting tea.
Customer Review: Ingenius Ingenuitea Summary: 5 Stars
I chose this vessel for making tea after watching America's Test Kitchen on PBS. They rated Ingenuitea as the best in their testing. I have to agree, Ingenuitea beats out my old tea ball for loose tea and tea bags for the best full bodied tea. After several uses with a variety of teas, Ingenuitea delivers excellent tea and is easy to clean. We are planning on buying the larger version soon. Fall is the start of the hot tea season for us and we go through quite a bit of it.
