Kitchen and Housewares Reviews of Adagio Teas 16-Ounce Ingenuitea TeapotCustomer Review: Best tea maker ever! Summary: 5 Stars
I bought my IngenuiTEA back in 2006 and I've used it daily since then. It gives the tea leaves room to expand, it's easy to clean and it's long lasting. I've changed filters once during this period of five years, but that was purely due to esthetic reasons - The filter I had was miscolored, as is expected when one drinks a lot of black tea, but it was working perfectly well. Actually, I soaked it in vinegar after having ordered a new filter and it turned out almost as good as new, but since I had a new one I just changed to that one. If you are still in doubt about whether to buy this, check out the video that demonstrates how to use it.
Customer Review: New to the loose tea leaf brewing, but this makes it so much easier! Summary: 5 Stars
Love this tea maker, just pour hot water with the loose tea in the cup and let it sit for a few minutes, and then just place it over your favorite cup or thermos and just the liquid tea pours out. Easy to clean as well.
Just to note that it is microwave safe to heat water in it and to make tea (e.g. in the office or where a stove is not present) - i have not tried this nor plan too since i use it at home prior to leaving with my thermos. Parts are from Japan it says and made in taiwan on the item itself.
Dishwasher safe too (not sure about the filter though)... Will be getting this as gifts for my friends.
Customer Review: ingenuitea Summary: 5 Stars
This is the easiest way that I have ever seen to make loose tea.
I went to an herbal class this evening and when it came to the herbal infusions part of the class the teacher whipped out this neat little tea pot.
She had three of these for sale and I just had to have one.
Making tea from loose tea has always been messy at least for me and I always wound up with a few floaters in the cup.
I had a lovely cup of hibiscus tea made with the pot and not a floater in the cup.
Easy to empty the used tea, and easy to clean.
I am going to buy some as gifts for friends and family.
Customer Review: I love it! Summary: 5 Stars
I've had it for a year and I use it almost every day. No tea leaves get through the filter like others I've used. It fills a large mug well. If you use a smaller tea cup you can have enough to share. I often use teas that can be re-infused (oolong, white and green teas) and it makes it so economical. In the morning I make a cup then immediately add more water to brew another cup that I fill my travel mug and then I fill it again and it easily sits on top of my thermos to fill it and I have hot tea for work all day. Of course if I had access to hot water at work I would have one on my desk too!
Customer Review: freaking awesome Summary: 5 Stars
This thing totally 1UPs dispenser balls
With orzarka hot water a button press away, my new process of making tea is incredibly simple
1. dump a spoonful of tea into the teapot
2. pour hot water into the teapot until it nears the top
3. wait a couple of minutes, stir if you want to, it doesn't matter if you do or not
4. put tea into cup, add sweetness, enjoy
This thing can even make coffee if you wanted it to, I used to have one dedicated to coffee until I got an aeropress
This is still definitely my go-to for tea
