This product provided me the convenience needed to try out the world of loose leaf teas. I was expecting to use the Ingenuitea for home, but I've found myself taking it to work to brew tea (trying to cut back on guzzling sodas on lunch breaks). The whole process is convenient with it also being microwave safe. Cleanup is easy with the removable filter. Though after several uses the filter became loose and I suffered from the common issue of a floating filter, but that was fixable.
Solution for a floating filter: Scuff up the edges of the filter (I used some pliers to put little bends around the top edge of the filter). I've never had a problem with a floating filter since no matter how much abuse it suffers in my bag.

My only complaint is that it only makes 16 ozs. at a time. Since you're using loose tea, or even bags (it works with both), it would be easy to brew more. Maybe it would take longer to heat, though.
In any case, this teapot works very well. I have no complaints. It cleans easily and does a great job.
Oh, maybe one other complaint... the only way to stop the tea brewing (once it's done, is to completely empty the teapot. So, if you're making tea and all of it won't fit in the cup, you have to put the tea in some other container or it will become bitter.
Something cool... I make the tea and then put it over ice... instant iced tea! Great for hot days.
Highly recommended product.

I've only had this little device for a day, but so far its been amazing. It performs equally well with bagged or loose-leaf teas, stays hot and keeps the mess contained.
Previously, I was using a tea ball which was a pain in the butt to fill, clean, and use - but this contains everything and makes the drinking easy and quick!
Pair this with an electric kettle or a water-cooler that dispenses hot water and you're all set. Easy to clean, too - the filter pops out of the bottom so you can get it all thoroughly rinsed. Just be sure to seat it properly back in place before your next brew.
I'm curious to see how well this performs with coffee (similar to a french press) - we'll see!

PROS:Sturdy, filter is tight-fitting, does not leak.
CONS: (Nitpick) -> Filter seems a little fragile, and is a little hard to clean. Nothing else.
FINAL VERDICT: Worth the money if you like to drink loose leaf tea.
SUMMARY: I bought this recently on my girlfriend's recommendation, and I have not been disappointed. I started drinking loose leaf tea for the first time, and this works very well. I had one leak incident, but that was because I didn't push the filter back in all the way, have not had a problem since.
NOTES: Turns out this is dishwasher and microwave safe, so maybe I'll try tossing it in with the rest of the dirty dishes.

Its basically a miniature drip filter, or inverted french press (both I use for making tea). I like iced tea, and so this is perfect for me. I fill a tall glass with ice, brew up some hot tea in the adiago and then filter it directly into my iced tea cup.
I got this as a present about 3 years ago and have used it almost every day since then. It's slightly tea stained, but cleans up great. The removable, permanent filter is awesome, and doesn't get clogged ever. Has worked like a charm for easily 1000 uses without any change in function.
I'm curious to know if it is made of BPA plastic or not, but other than that I love it!
