I purchased this item for my parents & they liked it so much that I got one for me and my boyfriend. It slices everything we've tried well. Bigger veggies like carrots are a little weird to slice, but just be careful, and you'll be fine. We've even made homemade french fries using it & they come out in uniform shoestring fry size. This is a wonderful product. It has made cooking so much easier and faster for me. It glides easily and holds the veggie that you are slicing well. You're fingers do not come in contact with the blade at all (saw a review on the internet where someone said they sliced their fingers?? Not sure how that happened). This slicer is the second one that I've ordered and am afraid that if the original one defaults, I now have a replacement. Folks, this baby is the best. I've just processed 57 bushels of apples to make my apple chips and couldn't do it without this slicer. The best!Customer Review: FANTASTIC!

This is my second one. I wore out my first one after years of use. I bought a second one as a gift. One of the best kitchen gadgets ever made. If you slice or cut up lots of vegetables and fruits, this is a must have item.
